Our Mission
Welcome to Liturgical Dance Creative Academy! Our mission is to cultivate confident, purpose-filled young ladies by nurturing healthy self-esteem, self-worth, spiritual confidence, and identity through the art of liturgical dance. Through precision training, intentional mentorship, and biblically grounded instruction, we equip dancers to pursue excellence, embrace who God created them to be, and step boldly into their calling as worshipers and leaders who positively influence their communities.

Meet Tia
Tia Jones is native of North Carolina and is the founder and artistic director of Liturgical Dance Creative Academy. She holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Arts in Communication Arts from Austin Peay State University and proudly served in the United States Army.
Over the course of her ministry, Tia has ministered, taught, and served nationally and internationally through liturgical dance. Her passion for both faith and the arts led her to pursue advanced training in hermeneutics and homiletics in Oxford, England, and Fort Worth, Texas.
Her background in communication, military service, theological training, and the arts has shaped a distinctive vision for ministry through dance. She draws upon her expertise in communication to thoughtfully interpret Scripture, her military experience to cultivate discipline and structure, and her theological training to develop biblically grounded dance workshops and choreography that communicate God’s Word through movement.
Tia believes dance is the vehicle, but transformation is the mission. She is passionate about cultivating a healthy, Christ-centered environment where children and teens grow in confidence, healthy self-esteem, self-worth, character, discipline, identity, and purpose while pursuing excellence in dance. Her desire is that every student leaves the academy not only as a stronger dancer, but as a stronger individual who understands their God-given value and potential.
Outside of the academy, Tia enjoys traveling and spending quality time with her loved ones.
